Handcrafted bowls are the heart and soul of Empty Bowls, raising funds to provide food for people whose bowls might otherwise be empty. On Saturday, August 24th, the generosity and creativity of potters helped raise over $16,000 to purchase food for the nonprofit Feeding Avery Families. EMPTY BOWLS – August 24, 2019
On Saturday Aug. 24, Feeding Avery Families held its 6th Annual “Empty Bowls for Avery” lunch and Silent Auction at Linville Land Harbor Recreation Center. Hundreds of people enjoyed the event that was supported by many volunteers, crafters and artists, and donors.
